At Location X, we pride ourselves on being one of the UK's leading location scouting and facilitation companies. Originating from the creative heart of Manchester, we've grown to serve film, TV, and video productions nationwide with a commitment to exceptional locations and seamless production support.
Our purpose
Born from a passion for storytelling and the rich diversity of the UK’s landscapes, we began as a small visionary team in Manchester. Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to elevate every production by finding and facilitating locations that not only fit the narrative but also enhance the visual storytelling.

Meet our founders
The strength of Location X lies in our team's expertise and passion. We're united in our goal to bring your production's vision to fruition with professionalism and care.
With over 15 years’ experience in Production and Location Management, I’ve worked with a range of clients, from small independents to major global companies.
I’m an incredibly dedicated Location Manager, with a track-record for successfully delivering on HETV Drama, Commercials and stills projects.
I love bringing visions to life through innovative scouting and a desire for finding those hidden gems in every city.
As a lover of Manchester and all things in it, I take pride in building genuine connections across the heart of the city, and throughout Manchester’s most influential industries.
I have a strong passion for music, vibrant places, and the diversity and individuality these bring.
I have worked in the Television and Film Industry since 1993 working with various departments before discovering my aptitude lay in Locations.
I have been in the Location Department for 21 years working extensively in and around the North West and also throughout the rest of UK and abroad.
I am extremely passionate and committed to my job, and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of it - from the initial stages to seeing the finished results of our efforts.
On a personal level, I am a family man with 2 children and enjoy all aspects of outdoor life from hill walking with our dog, mountain biking with my son to Scuba Diving.
My interests lie heavily in architecture and design and I love nothing more than being able to share my passion of all this with others.
